Outeach Event with Bay STEM Academy
ERIE Lab teamed up with Saphari Lab to host the Bay STEM Academy for a third year. This time we significantly upped our game. Students got to try interacting with vibration-enhanced switch-adapted toys and commercial haptic feedback devices. They experienced virtual reality with eye tracking and even got to play a game of Operation using a telesurgical robot.
We hope that students had a great time learning about haptics, engineering, and will be inspired to pursue careers in STEM.
